Bowditch photography teamed up with Images in Africa, a leading USA based wildlife African safari company headed by Gavin Slabbert at the magnificent Cheetah Plains in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve adjacent to the Kruger National Park to facilitate a photographic workshop.
Twelve wannabe to experienced photographers from Australia and the USA arrived to attend this course, ready to take their photography to the next level.
Each morning started with a wakeup call at 4.30am to head out in our respective vehicles, one led by Gavin and the other with yours truly to capture the magnificent wildlife and scenery that this area has to offer.
Spot the difference
On board training covered the capturing of wildlife scenes in different lighting situations, composition and a variety of other photographic techniques and tips.
On returning to camp and after a scrumptious breakfast, a 2 – 3 hour lecture course was presented to the participants who would then apply their newly found techniques, back in the field on the afternoon drives.
